Best YouTube Comment Pickers in 2026: An Honest Comparison
Disclosure: The Pick Is Right is our product, so read our entry with that in mind. Everything about the other tools comes from their own public pages, checked on October 12, 2026. Free limits and prices change, so check a tool's page before you rely on it.
The short answer: BeyondComments (up to 10,000 comments) and vidIQ and CommentDraw (up to 1,000) have the biggest free limits. Comment Picker is the long-standing option with the most filters and a separate live chat picker. Woobox suits creators who want to sign in with Google and only draw from their own videos. The Pick Is Right is the one we built for draws you need to prove: entries matched by channel, draws from only the comments you hearted, a public audit of every comment, and a winner-reveal video, free up to 250 comments.

How to choose
- A small video with simple rules: any of them works. Pick one that doesn't ask you to sign in.
- Thousands of comments, free: BeyondComments, vidIQ or CommentDraw.
- Live chat giveaways: Comment Picker's live chat picker or AppSorteos. We pick from comments, not chat.
- Only your own channel, signed in with Google: Woobox.
- A draw you can prove: The Pick Is Right's public results page shows every comment, whether it qualified and why, and you can download it as a CSV.
- "Best answer" giveaways: a picker with a hearted-comments filter, such as ours.
What no YouTube comment picker can do
- Check subscriptions. They're private by default. Here's why, and what to do instead.
- Check likes. YouTube shows how many people liked a video, not who.
- See comments held for review. Approve them in YouTube Studio before you draw.
Be wary of any tool that promises to verify subscribers or likes for every entrant.
A note on Uplup
Uplup's YouTube comment picker used to rank for these searches. As of October 2026 its page redirects elsewhere and its YouTube giveaway guide has been taken down, so older roundups that list it are out of date.
Why we built our YouTube picker
We started with Instagram, where the hard part is proving that entrants followed the rules. On YouTube, most of those checks are impossible, so the hard part is proving the draw itself was fair. Our picker records every comment it read, whether it counted and why, on a results page anyone can open, and it leaves your own comments out and counts each channel once by default. If that matters for your giveaway, try it free. If you need live chat draws or a bigger free limit, one of the tools above will suit you better.

Frequently asked questions
What's the best free YouTube comment picker?
It depends on what you need. BeyondComments, vidIQ and CommentDraw have the biggest free limits, Comment Picker has the most filters and a live chat picker, and The Pick Is Right adds a public audit of every comment, creator-heart-only draws and a winner-reveal video.
Can any YouTube comment picker check whether winners subscribed?
No. Subscriptions are private by default and YouTube doesn't show who liked a video, so no picker can verify either for every entrant. Check the winner's channel yourself if it matters.
Which YouTube comment pickers work with live chat?
According to their own pages, Comment Picker has a separate live chat picker and AppSorteos supports live streams. The Pick Is Right picks from comments under a video or live replay, not from the chat.
Do I need to sign in with Google to use a YouTube comment picker?
Most don't need it, including The Pick Is Right. Woobox requires a Google sign-in and only works on your own videos.
